Start Time: 14:00
A history walk with the Pendle Leisure Trust’s Up and Active Team, we focus on places with connections to the above three families - such as the Cunliffes’ Wycoller Hall, an apparent inspiration for Ferndean Manor in Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre. Visit Foster’s Leap just south of Lancashire Moor (aka Haworth) Road. Some moderate hills and stiles. Well-trained dogs are welcome and there’s also a drink to look forward to at the Emmott Arms afterwards.
