This is a short walk mainly in woodland and partly following the route of an old railway line used to build local reservoirs. It starts with steep steps down and then follows the railway line, after which you then head down hill and follow the river down stream. Arriving at the mill pond continuing down to Gibson Mill. Gibson Mill is a National Trust property with facilities and refreshments available at the Weaving Shed café. From here you can then head back up the hill up the stone steps to end at the Clough Hole car park, catching the 906 bus back.
